So, (according to myself...) I have had some very interesting, sometimes very amusing thoughts over the past few weeks. And, being a dumb blonde, failed to write them down in, for instance, my livejournal. Buck up, me!
To save you from the tedium of all randm thoughts at once, we'll just go for the one most apparent. Today, when I arrived at school, there was no power. Crazy, eh? Worse, they still kept us there for two hours. Those people. Still, the more important fact is that the power went out at my house at 6:45 that morning! Therefore, I do declare that the lack of lighting at school was probably a very good thing, because, as my mother would say, I looked like I got dressed in the dark, because... well, I did.
As a testament to how often this power-grid-failing thing happens, as I showered, dressed, and had "breakfast," I only attempted to turn on a light once! On a more negative note, I knocked over a full glass of Tang twice during my morning routine. Yes, the same glass... two times.
So, upon returning home, I studied. Yes, studied, because, if I do not study, I will no doubt fail my finals. So, yup, I studied for probably.... 6 or 7 hours..? Sounds pathetic, but, at the same time, I watched the movies Nothing (by the Cube guys) and Melinda and Melinda (shockingly bad film from Woody Allen.) Oh, before I finish my studying story, let me say that the absolute most irritating thing in a film, I discovered today, is an Australian doing a (vaguely) American accent, and not doing it very well. Still, I figured out where I knew the Radha Mitchell woman from. (Finding Neverland, in case you were wondering.)
Okay, so I was studying.... Math went pretty well... and there was a lot of it. Then I got to World History. Actually, not that bad, because, as bad of a TEACHER as Fitz is, she is a pretty darned good REVIEWER. So, I have really good review notes. Yay. Still, I find China to be, at times, almost insufferable. Therefore, as an outlet to my boredom (and a special study tool) I made an illustrated time line of Chinese History from Shang dynasty to Ming. It features such illustrations as "Genghis Khan," "Confuscius," and "the Tang I spilled this morning" (as a metaphor for the ever-expanding Tang Dynasty.)
Well, my fingers are raw by this point. I am left with only one question (and... a followup) Where is my mother? and Didn't she say she would bring me some dinner? Hungry, but well-versed in Chinese History, Adieu.

Sorry for the melodrama, but I swear, if I have to go to French class again... someone is going down. It will probably be me, in tears. I can't stand it. My french teacher, who will remain nameless, makes me so angry. SO ANGRY. The man has no reason to dislike me. I get such good grades in his class, really. And the least he could do is speak to me like a normal human being and not like a three year old. Grrrr
Aside from that. Well I don't really have anything else to say. We're learning about stuff to get a certificate to get a driver's license in health so I'm feeling a little sorry for myself. It was always going to happen wasn't it? I'm just hoping I can get a hundred on that test and show them all. (Yes, I do realize that no matter what I get on the alcohol and drug awareness test, they're still not going to let me get a driver's license... but a girl can dream)
I have almost completed a wonderful CD called CRESCENDO which I'm excited about. The bright spot on the dark horizon.

unfortunately, all of you readers out there (all two of you!) who were hoping to win the 1,000,000 bonus points... too bad. jess knows that my one and onnly true love is ryan turner. star of the former greatest show ever the brendan leonard. its only the former greatest because its over. sad sad sad.
ever had a teacher whos funa nd nice and lets you do like everything you want to do...? ever have that teacher go crazy mental? well two of my teachers have done that in the last week and funny as it is, i cant laugh.... someone made the mistake of smiling while mr walker was having his little spaz attack and i thought he was going to rip his head off. ms pettit is not quite as threatening...being about three feet (no seriously) shorter than walker.
speaking of crazy teachers (which i was...) lets talk about onovoh! okay craziest man ive ever met but i cant think of enough insults today because he was absent. have i mentioned to any of you taht the reason hes always late to class is that he has to go to the school shrink...? now does that make you feel safe or what???
ooh, and in a related topic, my french sub today was matt battaglia's mother. dont remember matt? well have you ever seen the friends episode (its called "the one with ross's thing" i believe) where phoebe has to choose between a fireman and a teacher? matt was the fireman. his name was vince. of course, there is no way i would know this had i not just looked him up on imdb.com, but check him out. hes been in a lot of stuff actually.
student council.... aha another thing for me to complain about. not student council in gereal (caroline, i never expected them to work.. did you?) what annoys me is TWELVE year old biplab panda who, for some reason thinks he can mouth off to me (and about me behind my back apparently.) its not just his age... he ran for presidnet and lost, i ran for vice president and won... does this not mean that i far far far outrank him?? also, i actually do work. he, i regret (pah) to say, doesnt do hmmmmmm i think the appropriate phrase is jack crap.
well lets hope for some closure from that quarter, eh? wish me luck in learning my lines btw...

okay so in a really weird mood today... wonder if ive used like half as many subjecyts of sentences as i should have. i relaly like my classes this year. except french but you just have to laugh it off... right? the guy is crazy but i can teach myself french if it comes to it. math teacher isnt really all there as far as i can tell. never had a teacher who spoke so little. pretty much the only thing hes said to us thats not math related "shut up, ya'll talk too much" crazy crazy crazy. LA is fun and science rocks my world caus i understand it and granville's funny. thing is, as much as i get waht he teaches in class, i keep getting.... ummm subpar grades on tests. grrrr...

What does it say about me if my newly proclaimed favorite book is about a drug addict and alcoholic at a treatment center? I'm not entirely sure but i really really really love the book "a million little pieces" by James Frey. It's incredible. I've read it before and im reading it again because it was so good.

I'm super thrilled which is a great way to begin my journal. So I was watching Degrassi Unscripted (something i do a lot on Friday nights) and Cassie Steele said Eh. and NOT JUST ONCE, but TWICE! So happy! Degrassi makes me happy anyway as a matter of fact. Craig is super hot... Marco is like a puppy... well, not actually like a puppy, but he is absolutely adorable. Aargh... my Degrassi is returning. Radio Free Roscoe next (the only thing i love more than Degrassi!) Thank God Its Friday
